Secretary to the organization’ a legend of Social Sector reformer, He is having full of life experience after doing graduation in Social Sector. He has a deep sense of renovation in social living and acting on different social issues among the community irrespective of cast, creed, religions & gender.
Mr. Suresh Kumar Shakti, the team leader and founder of Banwasi, has long association with primary education activities in Jharkhand and Bihar. He has been involved in educational programmes/Health/Women empowerment /Skill building/ Livelihood/ WASH Mr. Suresh Kumar Shakti, is a member of Dist education committee/DRDA/Dist Health committee. Mr. Shakti is promoter of Result Base Management .Mr. Shakti has a successful track record of 25 years in managing Health/Women empowerment /Skill building/ Livelihood/ WASH. His approach towards Government system /INGOS/Trusts/NGOS is a word of praise and commands respects for his excellent coordination and collaboration with Stack holder. Sujata Kumari
‘President of the organization’ a legend of Social Sector reformer.
She is having full of life experience after completing post graduation in Social Sector.
Ensure the implementation of programme from field level to district level. Supportive supervision, monitoring of all over programme, field level, fund utilization, coordinating with other department, time to time reporting to state, evaluation of the programme and programmer involve in it.
Some of the key achievements during her job tenure are-under Jharkhand Mahila Samakhya Society, 450 SHGs are formed in Godda district. Through Mahila Sikshan Kendra, 210 adolescent girls who were dropout from their school are mainstreamed. In KGBV, women’s of Mahila Group are actively involved in – saving credit through bank, also working on the issue of child marriage, trafficking, domestic violence etc.
Under MNREGS, She have experience in organizing Gram Sabha, Aam Sabha, Making labour card of labour, taking projects through Gram Sabha and implementing it, filling muster roll, ensure payment of the labourers, reporting to block Block Development Officer and Panchayat Sewak, aware people about the employment through MNREGA in their own village panchayat.
She had worked as a principal in school, Residential bridge course for the schooling of the disadvantaged girls, the school ran by the organization with the financial support of UNICEF and REACH INDIA. It is a non formal school which is only for 1year batch. In a batch 100 students were mainstreamed in the formal school. In the organization she had also worked as a master trainer of teacher of EGS centre of SSA.
Dr. Bipin Kumar Singh,
‘Associate Director to the program’ for BVA having more than 10 years of work experience with specialization in management, implementation, governance, communication, women and child rights, health and advocacy, with strong leadership, advocacy and research & analysis quality along with understanding the value of team work and a strong interpersonal communications and project management skills. Area of Expertise: Health, Gender, Nutrition, sanitation for Adolescent, Youth, Child & livelihood & Agriculture./Education: Doctorate in Rural Development Management from IRDM, MU Bodh Gaya & MBA in HR & Finance from NEC_PTU Jalandhar India. Dr. Singh Served the community through UNICEF, NRHM-NIPI, Care-India. Dr. Bipin has a very reach understanding, and perceptive of NGO partnership management, M&LE, community base organization operation and stack holder.
Mr. Kushal Mukherjee-
Senior Program representative – Mr Kushal Mukherjee is having the experience 25 years, with Care-Inc/Care-India/USAID/ DFID – Bihar technical assistance Support Team(BTAST) supported by Ukaid-. Oversee the projects related to National Health Mission (NHM), Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme, SBM, Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), WDC, and Education. Expertise in Program management, Expertise in building and managing strategic partnerships, identify common interest and goals and carry out joint initiatives with partners., He has a keen understanding Sustainability strategies and NHM-ICDS- , Food and nutrition security, Right base approach and Gender. Expertise on inter sector linkages, convergence, Government level advocacy, capacity building, supportive supervision, MIS, National Quality assurance .Having Keen understanding and approach of Lead a Team of development functionaries-NGOs-CSOs Experience in social audit SHG management, PLA-PRA and community mobilization ,CCA, Disaster risk management and Emergency Preparedness and responses. He has the skill for the preparation of Project budget and annual performance appraisal of line support. He has a High Level skill in documentation, and IEC. A fellow of PGDBM from Institute of Management Technology (IMT) .
Mrs. Bhagirathi Devi
Mrs. Bhagirathi Devi has ample of experience of grass-root level work as she had faced lot of difficulties in early days of her life. She has been married at an early age and was one of the victims of child marriage. She was only eighth pass when first reached to her in laws. But instead of giving up she decided to fight against the odds. She connected with the organization as a volunteer and started educating adolescent girls from the deprived and backward sections of the society. In the mean time, she completed her graduation while volunteering and feel much more stronger and independent.
Under IPAS project, she make the women aware about their reproductive health and safe pregnancy. She explained them the importance of Health & sanitation and how important role it plays in their life. She had also worked in CHILDLINE project, where she actively participated in child rights protection. Presently, she is working on CWES fellowship project, where she deal with the livelihood issues of the people in the project area. She make them aware how to improve their standard of living. Overall, she had covered a long distance and is willing to go on.
